Help us find the UK’s best service providers

If you think you have found a service provider that really delivers, we want to hear about it.

We are looking for the best service providers to UK businesses with our 2021 Finance Directors’ Satisfaction Survey.

Now in its 21st year, the annual survey asks the UK’s finance directors and financial decision makers to rate their satisfaction with key service providers. The winners will be announced later in the year.

Finance directors and financial decision makers are asked to rank their satisfaction for their preferred accounting firm, bank, technology provider and other suppliers and advisers in order to find the best of the best. It is an opportunity to showcase the suppliers who really make a positive difference to their business.

In 2020, the survey attracted over 1,500 responses, making it the definitive analysis of how well UK businesses are being served.

Last year’s winners were:

Accountancy Firm of the Year Winner: Azets

Runner Up: RSM

Business Bank of the Year Winner: Lloyds Banking Group

Runner Up: HSBC

Financial Software Provider of the Year Winner: Microsoft Dynamics

Runner Up: Xero

Pensions Provider of the Year Winner: Scottish Widows

Amber Ward, Director of the FD Excellence Awards, said: “Service providers are often the unsung heroes supporting successful businesses and we are delighted that the Finance Director’s Satisfaction survey and FD Excellence Awards are able to highlight and celebrate excellence in this area.”

Previous winners have highly valued the results of the Finance Directors’ Satisfaction Survey. Paul Gordon, Managing Director of SME & Mid Corporates, Lloyds Banking Group, said: “As a bank, we put our customers at the heart of what we do and strive towards providing the best customer experience possible, so having this type of feedback directly from our clients is the strongest possible endorsement of the service and expertise we provide. In what has been one of the most challenging years for both our clients and us as a bank, this award is a real source of pride.”

Jane Clark-Hutchison and Alison Nicolson, Co-Heads of Client Relationships – Workplace Savings, Distribution at Scottish Widows, said: “This award is always one that we look out for each year as it is evidence for us that we continue to offer the best possible support and solutions to our customers. To have won this award several years in a row makes us very proud of the service we are offering.”

Dawn Marriott, CEO of Azets, said: “We are naturally really thrilled to win this award. To have been chosen as Accountancy Firm of the year based on feedback from the FD community we serve including many of our clients is really special and a fantastic accolade to our Partners and teams across the regions we serve.”
